Comprehensive Landing Permit Support at Nashville Airport (BNA) from Just Aviation

Nashville International Airport operates with CBP inspection services available seven days a week: Monday–Friday 0830–2100 CT, and Saturday, Sunday & holidays 1430–2100 CT, in accordance with official permission-to-land procedures. Operators arriving from international locations must contact CBP during regular office hours, no later than two hours before departing the foreign airport, to obtain landing permission. Approved landing times include a ±30-minute tolerance, and deviations outside this window require operators to contact CBP again to renew authorization. Commercial aircraft departing the U.S. must arrange outbound clearance directly with CBP.

To secure permission to land, operators should email a GenDec/Landing Rights request to the flight operations shared mailbox. Upon arrival at an FBO, aircraft should park at the ramp and await the CBP officer; if no officer arrives within 30 minutes, the office should be contacted via duty phone. Operators must have all required documentation ready, including passports, visas, licenses, medical certificates, aircraft registration, and user fee decals. Regulated waste is collected by the FBO unless the operator has their own compliance agreement. Passengers and crew may depart after inspection.

Large cargo or passenger aircraft requiring extended processing are generally cleared at the FIS unless prior arrangements are made, and small passenger planes with U.S. citizens can be processed at an FBO if coordinated in advance. Any changes to passengers, crew, or aircraft after approval require a new landing request during business hours. Operators should also note potential delays during busy periods, including weekday evenings and weekend afternoons, as well as occasional special events.
