Landing Permit Administration at Great Falls International Airport (IATA: GTF, ICAO: KGTF) with Just Aviation Made Easy

For both scheduled and non-scheduled flight operations at Great Falls International Airport (KGTF), operators must submit several documents for landing permit applications. These include the Aircraft Registration Certificate, a valid Airworthiness Certificate, an Insurance Certificate, Pilot Licenses and Medical Certificates, Operational Specifications (for commercial operators), a detailed Flight Plan, Customs and Immigration Documentation (passports, visas), and a User Fee Decal if applicable.

Landing permit applications should be submitted at least 30 days before the intended date of the first landing. For after-hours arrivals, appointments must be confirmed with the on-duty CBP Officer by 1600 hrs on the day of arrival. For arrivals before office hours, appointments must be confirmed by 1600 hrs on the day prior to arrival.

Pilots must secure permission to land by contacting CBP at least two hours in advance of the anticipated arrival time. Permission is granted with a tolerance of (+/-) 30 minutes, and if the ETA deviates outside these parameters, previously granted permissions become invalid and must be re-secured. All inspections are conducted on the CBP ramp unless prior arrangements for off-site clearance are approved. Passengers must de-plane and be processed inside the CBP facility, presenting passports, visas, the pilot’s license, medical certificate, aircraft registration, and user fee decal.
