Overflight Permits in Armenia’s International Operations

For single non-scheduled flights transiting Armenian airspace without landing, special permission is generally not required. However, for air transportations to or from Armenia, permission from the Civil Aviation Committee (CAC) is necessary. Applicants, including air operators or individuals, must submit an application at least 72 hours before the flight. The application should include details such as the aircraft’s registration, flight route, purpose, and load, along with relevant documentation like the Air Operator Certificate, Airworthiness Certificate, and Insurance Certificates. In urgent cases, where the 72-hour notice is not feasible, the applicant must provide reasons for the delay. The application process is typically handled online or through email to the specified address.
