    check

By adhering to DEF STAN 91-91 and ASTM D1655 standards, Jet A-1 fuel supports the aviation industry, complying fully with FAA and IATA requirements.

    check

When flying at higher altitudes, Jet A-1 fuel provides a 30% reduction in fuel consumption, optimizing fuel efficiency for business jets. As a kerosene-based product, it is suitable for various jet aircraft configurations. The fuel has a boiling range of 150°C to 250°C, a flashpoint over 38°C (100°F), and a freeze point of -47°C. Its energy density of 34.7 MJ/kg increases the jet's range, reducing the need for frequent refueling during extended travel.

    check

Reducing refueling time by up to 15%, business aviation benefits from faster aircraft turnarounds and more precise flight planning. Optimizing fuel blends boosts engine thrust by 2-3%, enhancing performance during takeoff and at cruising altitudes. Continuous monitoring of fuel use improves efficiency by 5%, lowering overall operational costs. A 5-7% fuel reserve ensures compliance with safety requirements and provides room for diversions.

The airport has two runways. Runway 18/36 is 9,730 feet (2,966 meters) long and made of asphalt, while Runway 04/22 is 6,000 feet (1,829 meters) long and also has an asphalt surface. In 2023, the airport handled 146,494 aircraft operations in 2022, with 279 based aircraft. Passenger traffic reached 2,494,952 for the year. St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport has one terminal with two gate areas: A-Side and B-Side. A-Side contains gates 1 through 6, and B-Side contains gates 7 through 12. Gates 1 and 12 are designated as Arrivals Only gates, with Gate 1 leading to the Ticketing A lobby and Gate 12 leading to the baggage claim area. Additional remarks include the fact that the area within 5 miles north, extending 1 mile east and west of the runway location, is a noise-sensitive zone. The public noise abatement procedures must be followed for turbojet landings on Runway 18 and departures from Runway 36. A prior permission request is required for any transient aircraft seeking to park on the Clearwater USAR military ramp/apron.
