Southwest Florida International Airport (IATA: RSW, ICAO: KRSW) is a major county-owned airport located in the South Fort Myers area of unincorporated Lee County, Florida, United States.

The airport operates one primary runway, Runway 06/24, which is 12,000 feet (3,658 meters) long and paved with asphalt. In 2023, Southwest Florida International Airport handled 87,685 aircraft operations, served 10,069,839 passengers, and processed a total of 38,894,722 pounds of cargo. The airport's terminal has a design capacity of 10 million passengers per year and includes 28 gates spread across three concourses: B, C, and D. The terminal can be expanded incrementally to 65 gates with the addition of two more concourses (A and E). Currently, the concourses are not connected airside, but an expansion plan is underway to consolidate the three checkpoints into one. Concourse E is planned for completion by 2027 on the west side of the terminal, and Concourse A is reserved for future expansion on the east side. Additional operational guidelines include landing fees for charter, travel clubs, and revenue-producing aircraft. Aircraft are required to operate with transponders in altitude reporting mode and ADS-B (if equipped) enabled on all airport surfaces. The runway use program is in effect, with a recommended distant noise abatement departure profile and a visual approach to Runway 06 west of Fort Myers Beach, maintaining 3,000 feet until crossing the shoreline 12 nautical miles southwest of the airport. Runway 24 is preferred for operations between 2200 and 0600.
