Engineered to meet DEF STAN 91-91 and ASTM D1655 standards, Jet A-1 fuel ensures seamless international air travel, fully adhering to the operational standards of both IATA and FAA.

    check

Optimized for high-altitude business jets, Jet A-1 fuel cuts fuel consumption by 30%, providing significant cost savings. It’s a kerosene-derived fuel compatible with a wide range of jet aircraft. With a boiling range from 150°C to 250°C, the flashpoint is above 38ºC (100ºF), and the freeze point reaches -47ºC. Its energy density of 34.7 MJ/kg boosts range, minimizing refueling needs.

Reducing refueling times by up to 15% through efficient fuel management improves the pace of business aviation turnarounds, resulting in tighter flight schedules. Engine thrust can be boosted by 2-3% with fuel optimization, improving both takeoff and cruising performance. Real-time fuel monitoring provides a 5% improvement in operational efficiency, leading to lower flight costs. Maintaining a fuel reserve of 5-7% is vital for adhering to safety regulations and maintaining flexibility when diversions arise.

In addition to general aviation, the airport handles commercial traffic and serves as a key gateway for the region. The terminal, built in 1986, was expanded in 2008 with a $15.5 million project that added a fifth gate and improved baggage and security facilities. As of 2023, the airport handled 1.03 million passengers, a significant increase from previous years. A major terminal expansion is scheduled to begin in 2024, which will add four new gates and a parking garage with 1,000 spaces, enhancing the airport’s capacity and services. The $124 million expansion is expected to be completed in three to four years, further strengthening the airport’s role as a regional hub for both commercial and general aviation.
