Consignee and Consigner Details (Only for Cargo Flights)

Angola has its own set of rules, regulations, and procedures for obtaining permits to land or enter their airspace, regardless of whether it is a private flight, general aviation, charter flight, scheduled or non-scheduled operation, passenger or cargo trip, or a technical or traffic landing.

When submitting the Flight Plan, it is important to insert the issued overflight permit number in Item 18.

It is required to provide details of the receiving party when applying for a landing permit.

The overflight permit number for Angola is DIR OVFP/5739/DTA/SAMA/AIS-AIL/SI/2020JUN29, and the responsible authority is the National Institute of Civil Aviation Angola (INAVIC).

There are no Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) processing fees officially applied for the issuance of Angola Overflight Permits.

The Angola overflight permits remain valid for a period of +72 hours from the initially requested schedule.

Currently, Angola's airspace is divided into one flight information region (FIR).

The Angola Civil Aviation Authority will issue air navigation bills directly to the airline/operator.

The working hours of the Angola Civil Aviation Authority are from 0700Z to 1400Z.
