Seamless Approvals for Business Aircraft Overflight and Landings at Togo International Airports

Togo’s aviation regulations dictate that prior permission is obligatory for various types of flights, whether private, general aviation, charter, scheduled, non-scheduled, passenger, cargo, technical, or traffic-related. To initiate this process, submit an overflight clearance request to the air transport department at least 48 working hours prior to your scheduled flight departure. Include the Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network (AFTN) on your flight plan. However, only an overfly permit from Togo is required.

The overflight permit number issued by Togo must be entered in Item 18 of your submitted Flight Plan. The Togo Overflight Permit is designated as N701/ANAC/18 and is valid for a duration of +72 hours from the originally requested schedule. Togo’s airspace falls within one flight information region (FIR), simplifying coordination and communication. The Togo Civil Aviation Authority will issue the air navigation bill directly to the airline/operator through “Asecna,” the Agency for Aerial Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar. It is crucial to note that Togo Civil Aviation Authority’s working hours are from 0700Z to 1600Z.
