Aligned to the DEF STAN 91-91 and ASTM D1655 standards, Jet A-1 fuel plays a crucial role in international aviation, ensuring operational consistency and complying with IATA and FAA rules.

    check

Crafted for high-altitude business jets, Jet A-1 fuel cuts fuel consumption by 30%. Made from kerosene, it fits various jet aircraft types. Its boiling range is 150°C to 250°C, with a flashpoint greater than 38°C (100°F) and a freeze point of -47°C. With an energy density of 34.7 MJ/kg, it extends range and reduces the need for frequent refueling on long-haul flights.

    check

Efficient fuel management in business aviation reduces refueling time by as much as 15%, facilitating quicker turnarounds and more reliable scheduling. Adjusting fuel blends can increase engine thrust by 2-3%, resulting in better performance during both takeoff and flight at higher altitudes. Real-time monitoring of fuel consumption boosts efficiency by 5%, driving down operational costs. A 5-7% fuel reserve provides both regulatory safety compliance and operational flexibility for diversions.

The landing threshold at each end is displaced by 2,000 feet, restricting the usable landing length to 8,817 feet for Runway 9 and 9,817 feet for Runway 27. The full length is available for takeoff in both directions. Runway 09 is equipped with an instrument landing system (ILS) for Category I and II approaches and an ALSF2 approach lighting system, while Runway 27 has ILS without approach lighting. The crosswind runway, 16/34, measures 6,004 feet by 150 feet and has GPS-based instrument approaches. Helipad H1 measures 40 feet and has an asphalt surface. In the year ending April 30, 2023, the airport recorded 37,133 aircraft operations, averaging 102 per day: 63% general aviation, 17% military, 11% scheduled commercial, and 9% air taxi. A total of 54 aircraft were based at the airport, including 30 jets, 6 single-engine planes, 3 multi-engine planes, 6 helicopters, and 9 military aircraft.
