DEF STAN 91-91 and ASTM D1655-compliant Jet A-1 fuel is a cornerstone of aviation, promoting safety and efficiency through adherence to IATA and FAA directives.

    check

Jet A-1 fuel, designed for efficient performance in high-altitude business jets, reduces fuel consumption by 30%. A kerosene-based product, it works well with a wide range of jet aircraft. It boils between 150°C and 250°C, with a flashpoint above 38°C (100°F) and a freeze point of -47°C. With an energy density of 34.7 MJ/kg, it extends range, leading to fewer refueling stops on long-haul flights.

    check

Faster refueling in business aviation, reduced by up to 15%, ensures efficient ground operations and reliable schedules. Adjusted fuel blends offer a 2-3% boost in thrust, improving both takeoff and sustained altitude capabilities. Tools for monitoring fuel consumption increase efficiency by 5%, reducing overall costs. Safety and flexibility are maintained with a 5-7% fuel surplus.

Indianapolis International Airport (IATA: IND, ICAO: KIND) is located seven miles (11 km) southwest of downtown Indianapolis, in Marion County, Indiana, United States. The airport serves as a major hub for both domestic and international travel, providing connectivity to a wide range of destinations.

    check

The airport features three runways. Runway 5L/23R, the longest, is 11,200 feet (3,414 meters) in length with a concrete surface. Runway 5R/23L measures 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) in length, also with a concrete surface, while Runway 14/32 is 7,278 feet (2,218 meters) long and made of asphalt. In 2023, Indianapolis International Airport saw a total of 9,788,867 passengers, and handled air cargo totaling 983,420 metric tons. The airport also managed 193,220 aircraft operations during the same year. The airport has a single terminal with two concourses and a total of 39 gates. Concourse A houses 20 gates and is responsible for all international arrivals, while Concourse B contains 19 gates. In terms of airport operations, there are a few important notes for flight operators. Taxiway V is not available for aircraft operations, and Taxiway H runs contiguous to the northeast ramp. The airport has reported large flocks of birds in and around the vicinity, which requires attention from both flight crews and ground operations. Additionally, noise abatement procedures are in effect. The proximity of Runway 14/32 to the northeast ramp requires increased awareness, and primary student touch-and-go operations are not permitted at this airport.
